Pay Rate: £80 - £100 per day

Hours: Full-time. Monday to Friday, 6.5 hours per day. Initial contract is 4 months.

Main Duties of theSEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Develop educational resources tailored to the curriculum.

  • Customise teaching assistance to accommodate individual student requirements.

  • Attend to the physical, social, and emotional well-being of students.

  • Cultivate an engaging learning atmosphere conducive to student development.

  • Maintain meticulous records and participate in review sessions.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals, including speech and language therapists.

Applicant Requirements of the SEN Teaching Assistant:

  • Experience in Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), particularly in working with non-verbal children exhibiting high sensory needs and challenging behaviours.

  • Experience with Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is highly desirable, as the children are of reception age.
