Pay Rate: £180 -  £220 per day

Hours: Full-time, Monday – Friday.

Main Duties of the KS2 Teacher:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons to all students in the class.

  • Teach according to the educational needs, abilities, and achievements of individual students and groups of students.

  • Adopt and work towards the implementation of the school development plan of the school they are serving in.

  • Assign work, correct, and mark work carried out by his/her students.

  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, attainment, and behaviour of one's students.

  • Provide or contribute to oral and written assessments, reports, and references relating to individual students or groups of students.

  • Participate in arrangements within an agreed national framework for the appraisal of students' performance.

  • Promote the general progress and well-being of individual students, groups of students, or classes entrusted to him/her.

  • Provide guidance and advice to student careers, cational and social matters and on their further education and future careers; provide information on sources of more expert advice.

Requirements of the KS2 Teacher:

  • Qualifications: Possession of a relevant Teaching and Learning qualification, along with Qualified Primary Teacher Status.

  • At least 3 years Fulltime / Part time teaching experience in KS2.

  • Experience: Proficiency in ICT usage and demonstrated strategic utilisation of data. Solid understanding of the National Curriculum, including its assessment, recording, and reporting procedures.

  • Compliance: Documentation verifying eligibility to work and reside in the UK. Completion of an Enhanced DBS/Children's Barred List check, clean UK Driving licence, Teacher Reference Number (TRN), Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE).
