Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on a new locum opportunity based in Tameside, within the Male Acute Ward.
Location: Tameside General Hospital
Contract Type: Locum, ongoing block booking.
Working Hours: Hours are 37.5 per week to cover various shifts.
Pay Rate: £21 - £35 per hour (assignment rate):
- Days: £21 - £22 per hour
- Nights/Saturdays: £27 - £28 per hour
- Sundays/Bank Holidays: £34 - £35 per hour
Main Duties:
- Manage caseloads effectively, making the best use of time and resources and ensure that any unresolved issues for clients and their relatives/carers are Identified and referred to the appropriate personnel.
- Keep accurate and timely professional records of nursing care, ensuring confidentiality is maintained in live with Trust policy.
- Participate in the assessment of students allocated to the Acute Mental Health Service and in conjunction with other disciplines ensuring their development needs are addressed.
In consultation with the Ward Manager, establish priorities in workload and organise the working day to make effective use of resources. - Deal with complaints from clients and relatives in accordance with Pennine Trust Complaints Procedure.
- Participate in ward meetings and task groups as requested.
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Proven experience as a Registered Mental Health Nurse
- Valid NMC Registration
