Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a Radiology Manager to lead our client's Imaging Department on a full-time, permanent basis. As the Radiology Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring a seamless service while supporting, managing, recruiting, and training staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the Head of Department, reporting to the Director of Clinical Services.
  • Lead, inspire, and manage the radiology team.
  • Plan, allocate, assess, and provide feedback to team members.
  • Maintain and support the effective use of physical and financial resources.
  • Implement and monitor working processes and policies.
  • Appropriately delegate tasks to team members.
  • Ensure accurate staffing to meet patient needs.
  • Foster a working environment that enhances health, safety, and security.
  • Lead the implementation of IRMER regulations within the hospital.
  • Promote equality and diversity.
  • Manage relationships with Consultant Radiologists.
  • Oversee all clinical governance and audit activities in the department.

Who They're Looking For:

  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent.
  • HCPC Registered.
  • Significant post-qualification experience as a Senior Radiographer/Team Leader.
  • Proven experience in leading teams to success.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in RIS/PACS and IEP systems management.
  • Evidence of continuous professional development.
  • In-depth knowledge of IRMER legislation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality diagnostic services.
