Job Role

Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Radiology Manager to lead our client's imaging department in Norwich on a full-time permanent basis.

As the Radiology Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring seamless service delivery. Your responsibilities will include staff support, management, recruitment, and training.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Report to the Director of Clinical Services as the Head of Department
  • Lead, inspire, and champion the radiology team
  • Plan, allocate, assess, and provide feedback to team members
  • Manage physical and financial resources effectively
  • Implement and monitor operational processes and policies
  • Delegate tasks appropriately within the team
  • Maintain accurate staffing levels to meet patient needs
  • Foster a safe and inclusive working environment
  • Ensure compliance with IRMER regulations
  • Promote equality, diversity, and patient rights
  • Manage relationships with Consultant Radiologists
  • Oversee clinical governance and audit activities

Who We're Looking For

  • BSc in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
  • HCPC Registered
  • Significant post-qualification experience in a senior radiography role
  • Leadership experience in the listed areas
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in RIS/PACS and IEP systems management
  • Continuous professional development (CPD) track record
  • Strong knowledge of IRMER legislation
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently
  • Passion for delivering high-quality diagnostic services
