Sanctuary Health has a permanent vacancy for an experienced and dedicated Quality Lead (RGN/RMN/RNLD) to work in Wishaw. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.

The salary for this permanent Quality Lead role is £37,225.50 - £41,047.50 per annum. This role is a temporary interim contract (3-6 Months long) and you will be required to work Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.

Summary:

  • Our 26 Bedded service provides specialist rehabilitation for people in the early stages of recovery from an acquired or traumatic brain injury right through to independent living or residential care for those with other neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease, Huntington’s Disease or Motor Neurone Disease.

  • As the Quality Lead you will be working as part of the multi-disciplinary leadership team in developing and delivering the highest quality of care to patients and their families. Leading and managing the quality agenda to ensure patients receive care that is safe, effective, responsive, caring and well led.

Main Duties:

  • Leading and continually improving quality across the Service, ensuring it is embedded as day-to-day responsibility of all members of staff.

  • Promoting a culture of openness and responsiveness to the view of Nottingham Brain injury rehabilitation and neurological care centre, a philosophy of person-centred care and recovery, and an ethos of positive learning from incidents within a high performing service.

  • Balancing the philosophy with a passion for co-ordinating and leading patient safety.

  • Working with the Unit Managers and taking responsibility for leading and advancing clinical practice in the hospital.

  • Providing regular review and analysis of multi-disciplinary care and treatment.

  • Providing on-call clinical advice to the team, as required.

Requirements of the Quality Lead:

  • You will be a registered nurse and will have a valid NMC pin.

  • Educated to first degree level in nursing or other healthcare professional qualification.

  • Evidence continuing professional development relating to specialty.

  • Able to provide demonstrable experience of taking charge of a department, managing people and financial resources.

  • Have an in depth knowledge of the clinical governance agenda including health and safety, clinical risk issues and quality initiatives.

  • Critical, analytical and decision making skills.

  • Able to understand and contextualise complex information for dissemination to all levels across the service.

  • Be in possession of excellent interpersonal skills.
