The pay rate for this locum Prison Nurse role is £22.73-£27.83 per hour (Assignment rate).
Role purpose:
- Assist and support the Head of Offender Health and the Clinical Nurse Manager Offender Health across the services ensuring that prisoners and detainees receive a high quality service in line with IC24 Primary Care Services within a safe, secure and clean environment.
- To be responsible for the effective day to day clinical leadership and management of the healthcare department.
- The post holder will undertake the role of Primary and Unscheduled Care Specialist as required and as appropriate.
Requirements of the Prison Nurses:
- Qualification/Degree within Nursing
- Active NMC Registration
- Prison experience and clearance is essential
