I love my job. It’s not the career I had in mind as a child. I wanted to be a professional footballer or athlete (cue the office laughter!). I know it sounds like a stretch but what I do now is not that different. I’ve trained hard to be where I am (I started life as an apprentice at Sanctuary in 2012), I put in 200% into everything I do, am goal driven, and just enjoy helping people. I’d liken my role to a football manager. I still get a huge buzz every time I help someone get to where they want and deserve to be in their career. For me, it’s all about the long game. I am there for the whole journey, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Yes, I am the office clown (well, I like to think so), but I am also the ringmaster. Someone once said to me “everything changes for the better when you take ownership of your own problems” and I live by this. There’s always a solution. If England can win against Germany, anything’s possible.
Oh, and a personal profile would never be complete without a special shout-out to my dog, Bruno, who goes everywhere with me. All my candidates have heard at least one Bruno story!
