Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Senior Mental Health Practitioner (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role within the Community CAMHS in Swindon.
Location: Swindon.
Pay Rate: £33.50 per hour (assignment rate).
Contract Type: Locum, 3-month ongoing.
Working Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week.
- Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm, on site/face to face in Swindon.
- 4 long days will be considered.
Main Duties:
- To provide assessments and interventions to young people who present with a range of mental health difficulties.
- To contribute to the daily duty rota, including completing risk assessments, care plans, clinical notes and crisis plans where needed.
- Attend multi agency meetings as and when required for the patients we support.
- Provide specific interventions to young people accessing our service.
- Contribute to the Initial assessments for children referred to CAMHS.
- Provide consultation and advice to professionals.
Requirements of the Senior Mental Health Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing.
- Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse, including within Community CAMHS or CAMHS in general.
- NMC Registration.
- Ability to use Microsoft Teams.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
- Full driving licence.
