Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to take on a new locum opportunity based in Milton Keynes, within the Eating Disorders Team. The postholder may be expected to carry out home visits as well as see patients at our office.
Location: Milton Keynes
Contract Type: Locum, 3-6 month contract
Pay Rate: £32 per hour (assignment rate)
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- Valid NMC Registration
- A qualified and experienced Nurse to carry out Eating Disorder (psychiatric) assessments, care planning, risk assessments, participate in MDT meetings
- Ideally have experience working in community teams
- Have a solid understanding of Eating Disorders (and MH) including interventions used to treat this mental health condition
- Be skilled at engaging patients and need to be assertive in their approach to patient care
- Must be confident in monitoring physical health with basic knowledge to do basic vital signs (weight/ height/ BMI or WfH/ etc)
