Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse (CPN) to take on a new ongoing contract role within the R&R Team.
Location: Camden
Pay Rate: £28 - £29 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract Type: Locum, 3-month contract
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 09:00 am – 17:00 pm
Requirements of the Community Mental Health Nurse:
- Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
- NMC Registration
- Experience of working in a community mental health team
- Ability to support and maintain depot clinic day to day running and home visit depot administration
- Experience of care coordination, care planning, risk assessment and risk management
- Demonstrates practical experience of dealing with the needs of people with complex needs
- Excellent assessment skills and ability to use a range of evidence-based interventions
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills, time management and experience of working with a variety of stakeholders
- Able to work autonomously and work as part of a multi- disciplinary team
- Demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of the needs and difficulties of people with complex mental health and/or substance misuse problems
- Knowledge of legislative framework including Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act
- Knowledge and experience of safeguarding adults and children
