Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a job based in Upton for a Band 6 Community Mental Health Nurse (CPN).

The pay rate for this full-time role is £25.50 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 6-month contract.

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday – Friday core hours
  • 09:00 am – 17:00 pm

Duties:

  • Be Duty Facilitator and running of clinics
  • Provide Clinical Leadership and will act as Care Programme Coordinator (CPA) in the community with individuals (and their support networks) who have complex mental health problems
  • Assess needs, plan, implement and evaluate treatment packages in line with service policies providing comprehensive care packages to those individuals who are experiencing problems with mental health
  • Supervise and support junior practitioners/students within a designated locality
  • The training and education of relevant others and developing a working relationship between the service and it's partners and various agencies within Northamptonshire
  • Ensure you will deliver the highest standard of care, through maintaining the quality of own work by developing own skills and knowledge, making changes to practice and contributing to the development of others within the team
  • Contribution to service improvement is a necessity of the role, through participation in implementation of improvements and changes to practice
  • Contribute to the revie, development and evaluation of occupational therapy services within PCART North Opportunity to develop and run groups
  • Monitor and maintain the health and safety of both self and other and also support equality and diversity

Requirements of the Community Mental Health Nurse:

  • Valid NMC registration under Mental Health
  • Previous experience working as a CPN
  • A degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing (RMN trained)
  • Car owner/driver and current driving license essential or access to a car (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
  • Have Smart card and knowledge of SystmOne
