Shift Pattern: Full time. 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday
Salary: £49,181 - £54,645 per annum

We are currently seeking a Clinical Research Nurse to join our client's esteemed team. Our client is recognised for its excellence in clinical trials, particularly in the advancement of innovative therapies including targeted and precision medication for cancer patients.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate trust among physicians and patients through multidisciplinary care coordination.
  • Educate patients about their clinical trial, enabling them to make informed decisions regarding their care.
  • Provide emotional support to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Direct patients to internal and external support networks.
  • Advocate for patients in the development of treatment plans.
  • Manage a caseload within the scope of practice, with support from the wider clinical team.
  • Coordinate planned care as per clinical trials protocol, ensuring patient safety and adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  • Collaborate with clinical trial sponsors to ensure adherence to protocols.

Requirements:

  • Current NMC registration
  • Experience in Oncology Trials
  • Chemotherapy Competent (SACT Passport) – desirable but not essential
  • Proficiency in patient assessment and phlebotomy
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 1 year of experience in research coordination, including early phase trials
