Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Paediatrics Occupational Therapist to work in Cheshire on a part-time (2 days per week) basis. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £24.61 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and the contract is until April 2020.
Duties:
- The primary purpose of this role is to complete Motor skills clinics, which will involve assessing children with DCD, handwriting issues, dressing issues, and problems with activities of daily living.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Recent NHS experience either pre or post qualification
- 2 years' experience in a similar role
- Preferably a car driver
- Experience of working within paediatrics, completing assessments such as Movement ABCs, DASH assessments.
