Ruben has been on a fantastic journey since joining Sanctuary in 2018. One of the things he loves about being a consultant is “making a difference to candidates lives”.
In his own words, “every candidate has a unique value, and it is my job to see it”. In fact, being of Portuguese descent, diversity and inclusion in and out of the workplace is something Ruben feels incredibly passionate about. As such, his sporting idols (amongst many) include Lewis Hamilton, Cristiano Ronaldo and the late Kobe Bryant, all vocal advocates for inclusivity.
Another thing Ruben shares with the likes of Hamilton and Ronaldo is his competitive streak. He used to play professional snooker and pool, and even played the four-time reigning World Snooker Champion, Mark Selby, at a charity event!
