Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Isleworth, London
Employment Type: Locum, Part-time (4 days)
Contract Duration: Ongoing
Pay Rate: £35-40 per hour

Responsibilities/General Duties:
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role within our team, contributing to the development of our pupils through comprehensive Occupational Therapy services. You'll receive continuous in-house training from our highly qualified Clinical teams, enhancing your skills and expertise.

Responsibilities include:

  • Implementing Occupational Therapy: Overseeing and executing occupational therapy practices, ensuring their integration within the educational environment.
  • Management Responsibilities: Undertaking delegated management tasks such as supervisions, appraisals, and audits.
  • Collaborative Work: Working closely with other clinicians to create and execute tailored assessment and intervention plans for autistic pupils, addressing associated needs like ADHD, social communication difficulties, sensory processing needs, and trauma.
  • Holistic Approach: Utilizing a holistic, therapeutic approach to enhance pupils' daily lives, focusing on safety, comfort, and health.
  • Clinical Duties: Conducting specialist assessments and interventions, following professional and regulatory guidelines. Documenting findings in reports and ensuring comprehensive documentation.
  • Training and Information: Providing training and essential information to staff, commissioners, and other agencies.

  • HCPC Requirement: Candidates must be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
