The salary for this permanent Acute Staff Nurse job is £34,900 - £37,227 per annum + £3000 welcome bonus.

Shift Pattern:

  • Nights
  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Our Nurses work flexible shift patterns of nights (19:30 pm – 08:00 am), working 7 shifts over a 14 day period
  • Flexible working and part time options are available

Duties:

  • Work alongside a team of professionals including Ward Managers, Charge Nurses, Doctors, Support workers, Therapist, Activity Coordinators and the Senior Management Team
  • Care for patients with acute mental health needs who are admitted to us for assessment and treatment

Requirements of the Acute Staff Nurse:

  • Valid NMC registration RMN RNLD
  • Experience in mental health services is desired but not essential 
  • Evidence of post registration continuing professional development
  • A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines and professional practices
  • Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice
