The salary for this permanent Acute Staff Nurse job is £34,900 - £37,227 per annum + £3000 welcome bonus.

Shift Pattern:
- Nights
- 37.5 hours per week
- Our Nurses work flexible shift patterns of nights (19:30 pm – 08:00 am), working 7 shifts over a 14 day period
- Flexible working and part time options are available
Duties:
- Work alongside a team of professionals including Ward Managers, Charge Nurses, Doctors, Support workers, Therapist, Activity Coordinators and the Senior Management Team
- Care for patients with acute mental health needs who are admitted to us for assessment and treatment
Requirements of the Acute Staff Nurse:
- Valid NMC registration RMN RNLD
- Experience in mental health services is desired but not essential
- Evidence of post registration continuing professional development
- A positive attitude and commitment to change, improvement and quality
- Excellent verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of NMC standards guidelines and professional practices
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act and Code of Practice
