Job Title: Ward Sister/Charge Nurse
Location: Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Salary: £35,300 - £40,000 per annum (competitive) + £3,000 joining bonus
Contract Type: Full Time, permanent
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Ward Sister/Charge Nurse to join a prestigious private hospital in Tunbridge Wells on a permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive and friendly team, delivering exceptional patient care in surgical wards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of planned patient care
- Provide effective clinical and managerial leadership to ensure safe and efficient care delivery
- Support the Ward Manager and Head of Clinical Services in overall healthcare environment management
- Continuously develop personal and team knowledge and practices to enhance services
Requirements:
- Minimum Band 6 position
- Previous experience as Sister/Charge Nurse in a Surgical unit
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration and no restrictions
- Substantial post-registration CPD in management and clinical areas preferred
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in acute settings
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead by example
- Demonstrated autonomy in decision-making and strong leadership skills
