Sanctuary Executive is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Strategic Commissioner to work full-time within Children's Services in South-West England, within the SEN provision. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Children's Services and be registered with Social Work England.
The pay rate for this locum Strategic Commissioner job is £450 per day (Assignment rate) and is a 5-month contract.
Duties:
- To develop and implement a Borough-wide strategy to support local people with special educational needs, responding successfully, and quickly, to national reforms to provide parents and service users with the control and choice of how best to meet their particular needs.
- To work in partnership, across the Council, Borough and region to align and commission service provision ensuring it is cost effective and responsive to the needs of their diverse communities.
Requirements of the Strategic Commissioner:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Current Social Work England registration.
- Experience working in a similar role
