Role Overview:
Staff nurses are responsible for delivering high standards of holistic care and service to patients by providing safe haemodialysis treatment in accordance with prescriptions.
Main Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualised care while promoting patient-focused treatment.
- Mentor and support team members.
- Administer safe haemodialysis treatment as per patient prescriptions.
- Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team, and with external organisations and hospital trusts.
- Ensure effective communication at all times with patients, service users, and providers.
- Adhere to company procedures, guidelines, and policies, assisting in their implementation and review.
- Continuously develop relevant knowledge and skills to maintain high standards of patient care.
- Commit to evidence-based practice and assist in evaluating evidence to improve and develop patient care.
Person Specification:
- Registered Nurse
- Experience in renal nursing is preferred
- Strong communication skills
- Adaptable to change
- Good interpersonal skills, friendly and outgoing, flexible
- Ability to work effectively within a team
