Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Band 7 Speech and Language Therapist to work in Maidstone and remotely, within the Adult Community Team.
The pay rate for this locum Speech and Language Therapist job is £29 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 6-week contract.
Shift Pattern:
- 1-3 days per week.
Main Duties:
- Specialist adult speech and language therapist to work with the team in the community.
- See patients in their homes or clinic to carry out the assessment and management of a range of swallowing and communication difficulties.
- Candidates who are able to carry out telephone and video assessments will also be considered.
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapy.
- HCPC registered as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- At least two years of post-qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist.
- Experience of working with an adult neurological caseload.
- Experience of working with people with swallowing and communication problems.
- Ideally a car driver and/or happy using video platforms for assessment and therapy.
- Available to start as soon as possible.
