Sanctuary Personnel is seeking Specialist Occupational Therapists to join the Neurorehabilitation and Acute Services teams at a prestigious medical facility based in London.

You will play a crucial role within a dynamic therapies team, providing support to patients in a modern hospital environment. The neurorehabilitation unit, boasting 40 beds and two dedicated therapy gyms, utilises state-of-the-art equipment and innovative rehabilitation techniques, including advanced robotics and exoskeletons, to aid patients in their recovery journey.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering a variety of shift patterns, including weekends, to accommodate patient care needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume legal and professional responsibility for clinical and non-clinical caseloads, ensuring safe and effective management.
  • Apply clinical reasoning to assess, progress, and adapt patient treatments, seeking guidance when necessary.
  • Identify and communicate potential risks within the clinical setting to ensure patient safety.
  • Maintain professionalism through effective communication with all stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a qualified occupational therapist in both acute hospital and neurorehabilitation settings in the UK.
  • Demonstrated experience across different clinical areas and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Participation in in-service training and presentation.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • This role may require a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check in accordance with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
