Position Available:

Join our client's team as a rotational Radiographer, collaborating under the guidance of the Radiology Manager to uphold the highest standards of patient care, consultant support, and visitor satisfaction. Your role will align with the principles set forth by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to departmental operations monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
  • Adhere to national legislation, departmental policies, and professional guidelines to ensure optimal imaging service delivery.
  • Support caregiver development through effective coaching and mentoring.
  • Assist in training caregivers on new equipment.
  • Cultivate a work environment fostering quality care, accountability, and staff contentment.
  • Participate in implementing new patient care services to enhance clinical outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care in specialised areas.
  • Undertake relevant training and competency assessments in adherence to protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and Care Quality Commission standards.
  • Conduct basic patient observations and promptly manage deteriorating patient conditions.

Requirements:

  • Minimum BSc(Hons) Radiography or equivalent qualification with current HCPC registration.
  • Proficiency in UK Diagnostic Radiology practices and procedures.
  • Extensive experience and theoretical knowledge in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Familiarity with imaging procedures and data management.
  • Ability to build and maintain professional relationships, working both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
