Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency has a job based in Tower Hamlets for a Social Work Senior Practitioner to work within the Mental Health Team.

The pay rate for this locum Senior Practitioner role is £35.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.

Duties:

  • Provide a professional social work service to adults, their families and carers in line with the requirements of the Care Act 2014 and the focus of promoting wellbeing and identifying the significant impact

  • Comply with the statutory requirements of the relevant childcare, mental health legislation, identifying, responding to, managing and evaluating risk as appropriate considering and applying the Mental Capacity Act

  • Assist individuals, carers and families by completing strength-based assessments which support the identification of an individual, personal network, community strengths and universal services

  • Applying robust and evidence-based eligibility decision making and promoting the best value

  • Develop support plans which meet personalised outcomes

  • Take a preventative approach to all intervention that maximises the opportunities to reduce and delay needs and provide sufficient advice and information

Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:

  • Degree or equivalent in social work

  • Current Social Work England registration

  • Significant senior level frontline experience within adults’ services
