Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a Senior Operating Department Practitioner to join our client's prestigious Theatre team at a renowned hospital. The hospital, currently rated as "Outstanding" by the CQC, boasts a dynamic and professional environment where cutting-edge equipment and technology are at the forefront.

With 10 operating theatres, they cater to a diverse range of surgeries including Cardiac, Ortho, Liver, Neuro, Urology, Spinal, and General procedures. The successful candidate will become an integral part of their large theatre team, comprising experienced professionals committed to delivering exceptional care. Their hospital features 160 beds, including 28 ICU beds, alongside the 10 operating theatres. They pride ourselves on providing outstanding treatment across a spectrum of acute and complex care, utilising the latest technologies and healthcare innovations to benefit their patients.

Shift Pattern: 

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • Monday - Saturday, earlies and lates  

Requirements:

 

  • Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified
  • Post graduate experience in UK Theatres
  • Anaesthetics experience
  • Anaesthetics course
  • To ensure safety for patients and colleagues
  • To develop and maintain effective working relationships with Consultants and other health professionals and to ensure that prescribed treatment is carried out.
  • Participate fully as a team member, including working in all areas of the theatre suite, sharing knowledge and information and supporting colleagues, to promote a cohesive team and the achievement of team objectives.
