Pay Rate: £266 per day (assignment rate)
Contract: Locum, 3-Months
Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday from 9am - 5pm.

Main Duties:
To provide support with the operational leadership of the Attendance Support team and make a critical contribution to fulfilling the Council's statutory duties in addressing poor school attendance (Education Act 1996 Section 444)
Provide educational direction and expertise through joint working with colleagues in schools and other services including health, social care and the voluntary sector.
To provide support with managing interventions to improve school attendance across the borough.
To work in collaboration with middle leaders in schools, Social Care, Fostering, SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Team), YOS (Youth Offending Service) & other agencies to ensure that process and practice across services support Hillingdon’s children with school attendance.
Deliver programmes of practice development for the Attendance Support team and a programme of training and engagement for attendance leads in schools.
Provide management oversight of officers.
Requirements of the School Attendance Team Leader:
University Degree at grade 2:2 or above.
1+ year of experience within a similar role.
Proof of ability to work and live in the UK. Current DBS and 2 x references.
