About the Role:

As a Rotational Senior Radiographer, you will work collaboratively within our dynamic team under the guidance of the Radiology Manager. Upholding the highest standards of service delivery, you will ensure optimal care for our patients, consultants, and visitors, in alignment with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the monitoring, evaluation, and reporting of departmental operations.
  • Uphold professional and legal responsibilities, adhering to national legislation, policies, and professional guidelines.
  • Support the development of Caregivers through effective coaching and mentoring.
  • Assist in training Caregivers on new equipment alongside Radiology Leads.
  • Foster a work environment conducive to quality care, accountability, and employee satisfaction.
  • Aid in implementing new patient care services to enhance clinical outcomes.
  • Provide direct patient care in specialty areas and remain flexible with working hours, including shifts, extended days, weekends, and on-call rotations.
  • Undertake relevant training and competency assessments, adhering strictly to protocols and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and Care Quality Commission standards.
  • Conduct basic patient observations, promptly identifying and managing deteriorating patients.

What We Require:

  • Minimum of a BSc(Hons) Radiography or equivalent qualification with current HCPC registration.
  • Profound knowledge of UK Diagnostic Radiology practices.
  • Extensive experience and expertise in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Familiarity with various imaging procedures and data management.
  • Strong ability to build and sustain professional relationships, working independently and within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call rotations.
