Sanctuary Personnel, a dedicated and award-winning recruitment agency with a TrustPilot score of 4.8/5 and over 500+ reviews is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to work in Preston, Lancashire (07:15 am - 20:15 pm, 3 shifts per week).
The salary for this permanent Registered Nurse job is £31,500 per annum + 30% enhancements on weekends.
Duties:
- Work collaboratively with the nursing team and the wider multi-disciplinary team in order to provide an integrated, proactive and high quality service
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised care using evidence based guidelines
- Work collaboratively with the inter-disciplinary team to deliver high quality care
- Maintain all records in line with corporate policies and procedures and NMC guidelines
- Carry out all clinical care in line with policies and procedures
- Ensure the care team provide all care in line with the inter-professional evidence based care plan
- Where appropriate be responsible for the management of patient care during the shift or visit
Requirements of the Registered Nurse:
- Registered Nurse, preferably with experience in neurological care
- Relevant post-registration training or willing and able to gain within 1 year
- An ability to demonstrate a commitment to continued professional development
- Awareness of current legislation within independent care sector
- Completion of NMC recognised accredited mentor training and able to mentor students and less experienced staff
- Commitment to service user involvement
- An ability to implement and monitor clinical standards
- Demonstrable interest in the client group
- Proven ability to build and lead an effective team
- An ability to actively support and participate in change
- An ability to work in a complex and stressful environment demonstrating effective and appropriate coping strategies
- A prompt response to problems, including identifying and implementing solutions
- An ability to use own initiative in an unsupervised setting
- Effective verbal and written communication
- Willing and able to have a flexible approach to working patterns
- 3 years of checkable references and DBS/PVG checks
