Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to work based in Beckenham.
The pay rate for this locum Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) is £20.63 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 1-month contract.
Shift Pattern:
Monday-Sunday.
7am-9pm, 7am-3pm, 1pm-9pm.
30-37.5 hours per week.
Main Duties:
Assessment and monitoring of physical health, maintaining service user rights, supervising junior staff and students, working collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team, and maintaining a safe and therapeutic working environment and accurate records.
Ensure that service user’s fundamentals of care needs are met, including nutrition, hydration, hygiene, and comfort.
Coordinate and evaluate collaborate patient-centred care, getting feedback and improving plans with the multi-disciplinary team.
Carry out nursing procedures that give safe and effective care, observations of physical and mental state, and ensuring escalation of concerns as appropriate if deterioration is observed.
Administer and monitor the side effects of medication and monitor service user compliance.
Provide accurate information about care in an accessible format to patients and their relatives and carers.
Requirements of the Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN):
Degree or equivalent within Nursing (RMN trained).
NMC registration and a valid live pin.
Recent UK Nursing experience.
Preferably have knowledge of EPJS.
