Salary: £36,780 - £41,669 per annum
Sanctuary Personnel are seeking a skilled and dedicated physiotherapist to join our client's dynamic team. As a physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality person-centred care within a multi-disciplinary setting, ensuring the continuity and effectiveness of physical management for service users.
Key Relationships:
- Mentoring and supervising junior team members
- Collaborating effectively with the Therapy team, nursing teams, and the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team
- Working alongside volunteers, assistants, and students within the team
Complexity and Accountability:
- No budgetary responsibilities, but expected to assist in controlling expenditure
- Accountability in ensuring transparency in communication with service users and/or their representatives
- Clinical responsibility for managing a specific caseload
- Initiation of innovative clinical projects using skilled knowledge and research awareness
- Supporting and directing colleagues through skilled knowledge and research
- Compliance with professional ethics, legal frameworks, and quality governance policies
Key Responsibilities:
- Assessment of service user needs to optimize independence, physical function, and symptom control
- Development of formal plans for families and carers to provide physiotherapy interventions
- Promotion of choice in clinical practice and facilitation of feedback from service users and their representatives
- Communication and collaboration with health, social care professionals, and volunteers
- Prescription, provision, and maintenance of equipment within available resources
- Maintenance of accurate records in compliance with professional and charity standards
- Demonstration of clinical leadership and promotion of clinical supervision
- Ensuring a safe working environment and maintaining service user confidentiality
Qualifications Required:
- Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy
- Current and valid Registration with Health & Care Professions Council
- Evidence of Continued Professional Development
- UK driving license
Experience, Skills, and Ability:
- Proficiency in evidence-based practice and outcome measures
- Competence in physiotherapy assessments and interventions using clinical reasoning
- Ability to work autonomously and prioritise tasks effectively
- Confidence in assessing and managing risks related to physical performance
- Strong organisational and IT skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislation impacting practice
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Capability to build effective working relationships
- Desirable experience in relevant settings, including practice placements
