Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join a prestigious healthcare institution located in London. 

Role Overview:

This role operates on a Monday - Sunday basis, encompassing a 24/7 working rota with shift patterns of 07:00 am - 19:00 pm (Day Services) and 19:00 pm - 07:00 am (Night Services), comprising of 3-4 shifts per week.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance high-quality, patient-focused pharmacy services in collaboration with clinical and patient services staff.
  • Assist in the efficient day-to-day operations of the dispensary under the guidance of lead/senior technicians/pharmacists.
  • Prepare labels and assemble prescriptions accurately according to standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure timely supply of out-of-stock medication to patients, delegating tasks when necessary.
  • Provide counselling to patients on medication use and address any queries they may have.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) registration as a Pharmacy Technician.
  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Pharmaceutical Services.
  • Mandatory CPD to maintain professional fitness.
  • Previous experience in a busy dispensary department and hospital pharmacy settings.
