An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team at a leading independent hospital in Kent (equivalent band 6 NHS). We are committed to providing exceptional care in a clinical environment that prioritises the well-being of the people of Kent.

Our outpatient Physical Therapy department boasts a diverse multidisciplinary team including Physiotherapists, Hand therapists, Women’s Health Specialists, Sports Medicine Consultants, Osteopaths, and dedicated administrative support.

The successful applicant will deliver exemplary patient care across various Orthopaedic and Musculoskeletal conditions. Collaborating closely with departmental leads, you will contribute to maintaining our position at the forefront of the profession. In our dynamic team environment, you will foster strong patient relationships and collaborate effectively with consultants to deliver outstanding healthcare.

This full-time position requires 37.5 hours per week, covering Monday - Friday, 08:00 am - 20:00 pm, and Saturday, 08:00 am - 14:00 pm as needed. Flexibility to work across our Maidstone and Sevenoaks sites is essential.

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting autonomous assessments of patients, including complex cases, utilising clinical reasoning and experience
  • Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment and rehabilitation plans
  • Leading by example in upholding high clinical and physiotherapy standards
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members and contributing to service and professional standards development
  • Adhering to hospital policies and procedures in line with regulatory bodies
  • Fostering professional relationships with internal and external medical professionals
  • Adapting to flexible working patterns as required

Person Specification:

  • Degree in Physiotherapy
  • Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Minimum 12 months post-graduate experience in MSK and Orthopaedic Outpatients
  • Team player committed to professional development
  • Patient-focused with a collaborative mindset
