Our client is seeking a Specialist Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic team in the Oncology department in Southwark.

The salary for this role is £42,500 - £51,059 per annum, depending upon experience.

Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy Service, managing a caseload of clients with intricate needs.
  • To have joint responsibility for assessing and treating a wide case load of patients across a variety of specialities.
  • Establish robust connections and collaborative partnerships with the broader Multidisciplinary Team (MDT).
  • Maintain accurate and concise treatment records, documenting individual patient treatment plans and progress.

Qualifications and Skills of the Occupational Therapist:

  • Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
  • HCPC registration.
  • Demonstrated experience managing caseloads in oncology and various medical specialties in the UK.
  • Exceptional communication skills, adept at handling complex situations with the utmost respect and dignity.
  • Proficiency in providing highly specialised assessment and treatment for oncology and haematology patients.
  • Ability to offer support to the broader Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) in specialised oncology occupational therapy treatments and assessments.
  • Provision of specialised clinical support across all domains.
