Our client is seeking an Advanced Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic team in the Oncology department in Southwark.
The salary for this role is £49,181 - £60,110 per annum, depending upon experience.
Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist:
- Deliver high-quality Occupational Therapy Service, managing a caseload of clients with intricate needs.
- Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing assessments for each patient.
- Contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of OT services within a designated area, including oversight of defined projects.
- Design and implement treatment plans using a goal-oriented approach within the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and concise treatment records, documenting individual patient treatment plans and progress.
- Provide leadership for junior staff members through supervision and appraisal.
Qualifications and Skills of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy.
- HCPC registration.
- Minimum of three years’ experience within an oncology setting in the UK.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to adapt to departmental and service requirements.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in Neurology/Rehabilitation/Occupational Therapy.
- Experience in delivering educational sessions to colleagues.
