Sanctuary Personnel, an innovative and committed recruitment agency is currently looking for an experienced Blue Badge Occupational Therapist to work based in Bromley.
The pay rate for this locum Blue Badge Occupational Therapist job is £28.15 per hour (assignment rate) and is a 3-month contract.
Ask a series of questions relating to the applicant’s mobility and how it is affecting the activities of daily living.
Carry out assessments by reviewing applications along with any medical evidence supplied, speaking with the applicants over the telephone especially if any related information requires clarifying.
When necessary the BB OT will invite applicants to attend a face to face assessment in order to establish if the criteria for the Blue Badge concession is met. Government guidance is continued to be met on PPE and other safety precautions when performing a face to face assessment.
Requirements of the Blue Badge Occupational Therapist:
Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy.
HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist.
Recent post-qualifying experience working as an Occupational Therapist.
Have a broad knowledge in mobility, medication and relating health conditions and fully understand the current criteria for this mobility concession as according to the Department for Transport.
