Role Overview:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for an Occupational Hygiene Technician to join our dynamic and supportive team. Whether you're a recent STEM graduate or someone with experience in industrial or construction environments, this role offers a chance to advance your career in Occupational Health. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will take initiative in your role, managing your workload efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Occupational Hygiene monitoring and surveys, covering chemical, physical, and biological agents.
  • Contribute to occupational hygiene investigations and studies.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to assess hygiene-related aspects.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of training materials on hygiene-related topics.
  • Contribute to occupational hygiene performance reports.

Requirements:

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office 365 and Teams.
  • A degree in a STEM-related field, preferably with at least three years of relevant work experience.
  • Working towards or willing to pursue the Certificate of Operational Competence in Occupational Hygiene (CertOH) by BOHS.

Education & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Sciences or Chemistry.
  • Master's Degree.
