Occupational Health Advisor (Nurse)

Location: Home based

Job Type: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Salary: £46,947 per annum + welcome Bonus £3,600

Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for an Occupational Health Advisor (Nurse) for a prominent healthcare provider with in-house, nurse-led occupational health services. The role involves delivering a comprehensive service to approximately 5000 employees, bank staff, and accredited healthcare practitioners.

Company Overview:

Our client is one of the leading providers of independent hospital services in England, with a network of 40 sites offering a wide range of clinical specialties. As part of a global hospital group, they operate 116 hospitals and day surgery facilities across Australia, the United Kingdom, France, and Indonesia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct pre-placement screening, health surveillance, case management, and post-exposure management of medical sharps injuries.
  • Coordinate Occupational Health Link Nurses activities and collaborate with a central On-boarding Team and local Human Resource coordinators.
  • Contribute to the development and review of occupational health policies, clinical audits, management of health risks, investigation of work-related ill-health, and support the Flu vaccination campaign.

Qualifications:

  • Suitably qualified, preferably to degree level.
  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Registered Nurse and Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Occupational Health).
  • Excellent IT and communication skills.

 

Travel Requirements:

  • Home-based role with regular travel to facilities in Essex and Hertfordshire.
  • Attendance at meetings in central offices in Bedford and London.
  • Full UK driving license essential.
