Pay rate (Assignment rate): £30.98 per hour
Contract Length: 3-Months
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday. 37.5 hours per week.

Duties:
- Provide specialist evidence based nursing advise to support and facilitate high quality, individualised care to patients/clients and relatives/ carers without supervision
- Dealing with complex situations and having to take appropriate action in a variety of settings
- Provide expert advice and education for Healthcare professionals involved in the care of people with diabetes and their carers
- Acting as a resource for general practice and working to reduce admissions, improve diabetes outcomes and quality of life for people with diabetes
- Provide advanced clinical practice in the field of diabetes care and ensure the provision of a quality patient focussed diabetes service
Requirements for the Diabetes Nurse Specialist role:
- Degree or equivalent in Nursing (RGN qualified) with active NMC Registration (Adult)
- Recent nursing experience in the UK
- DBS with adults required
