Job Title: Band 4 Assistant Theatre Practitioner

Salary: £25,147 - £27,596 per annum
Sanctuary Personnel is excited to present an enticing opportunity in Norwich for a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner to join an esteemed healthcare facility. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the established Theatre teams to deliver safe and top-quality care to all patients.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the perioperative team in delivering exemplary care within the operating suite, including performing scrub duties for cases within your competence.
- Provide support in maintaining a safe, high-quality environment for surgical procedures, performing scrub practitioner roles in minor to intermediate surgeries.
- Undertake circulatory duties for all aspects of surgery and ensure supervision by a registered practitioner until completion of each case.
- Offer skilled assistance to surgeons within the sterile field, handling instrumentation, maintaining sterility, and completing necessary risk assurance processes.
Requirements:
- Understanding of the ATP role within the team and organisation, and its contribution to service development.
- Previous experience in an acute healthcare setting.
- Proficiency in literacy and basic awareness of health, safety, and hygiene.
- Flexibility to work within shift patterns (07:30 am - 18:00 pm/12:30 pm - 21:00 pm).
- Relevant ATP qualification.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Dedication to continuous learning and development.
- Strong interpersonal skills and awareness of infection control.
