Location: Barking & Dagenham. The individual can be home-based but would be expected to attend the office 2 – 4 times per month.
Pay Rate: £450 per day

Duties:
- Support the work of the Innovation and Personalisation and Older People’s portfolios
- Work would be largely delegated by the Lead Commissioners and focus around the delivery of homecare provision and other adult care related projects
- Redesign and re-procurement of our Homecare model using strong project management skills and meeting milestones and deadlines
- Supporting our care technology work
- Supporting wider commissioning activity
- Ad hoc support around the Better Care Fund where required
- Help with developing our dementia strategy
Requirements of the Lead Commissioner:
- An experienced Strategic Commissioner in Adult Social Care who can work in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple priorities to take projects through to fruition– good project management skills are required
- Particular expertise and experience in homecare / reablement commissioning would be desired
- Be available as soon as possible and to have the skills, capacity and understanding to hit the ground running
