Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our Acute Services Team in a prestigious healthcare facility in London.

About the Role:

As part of our dynamic therapies team, you will contribute to the care of patients in our cutting-edge hospital environment. Working within our 40-bed neurorehabilitation unit, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities including dedicated therapy gyms, you will employ advanced rehabilitation techniques to aid patient recovery, including the use of innovative robotic equipment and advanced exoskeletons.

This role operates on a full-time basis with shift patterns including rotation between 08:00 am - 16:00 pm and 10:00 am - 18:00 pm, alongside weekend rotations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and deliver occupational therapy to neurosciences patients, collaborating with the wider Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT).
  • Provide clinical expertise in neurological occupational therapy, supporting and deputising for occupational leads as necessary.
  • Educate and train colleagues in neurological care, occupational therapy, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Utilise routine outcome measures to enhance patient care, taking a proactive approach.
  • Undertake other assigned duties as required.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Degree in relevant Allied Health Profession (AHP).
  • Post-graduate experience and training in neurorehabilitation and neurosurgery, particularly in cognition assessment and treatment.
  • Evidence of experience/training in appraisal and supervision within therapy settings.
  • Continuous professional and academic development relevant to the clinical field.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • This role may require a DBS check as per the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
