Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Occupational Therapist to work full-time as the Head of Assessment, Access and Occupational Therapy based in Lewes, East Sussex. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy, be registered with the HCPC, have a management qualification and have senior occupational therapy experience.
The pay rate for this locum Head of Assessment, Access and Occupational Therapy job is £83.33 per hour or £600 per day (Assignment rate) and is an 8-month contract.
Summary:
- As post holder of this role you will be responsible for the operational and strategic management of an identified Departmental service area in the County with direct line management responsibility for Operations Managers, including statutory responsibilities on behalf of East Sussex County Council, budget management, performance management, continuous service improvement and significantly contributing to planning the future and managing change.
- This role will be working from home in the main, with a need to go into County Hall Lewes for the occasional important meeting.
Requirements of the Head of Assessment, Access and Occupational Therapy:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapy
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- 2 years' experience
- Management qualifications are essential.
