Salary: £41,475 - £44,648 per annum + £5,000 welcome bonus

An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Deputy Ward Manager within a reputable residential treatment facility, accommodating up to 38 service users, located in Preston.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Offer senior nursing leadership to the ward nursing team, supporting the Ward Manager.
  • Possess clinical experience and leadership skills, bolstering the confidence and expertise of the nursing team and the ward as a whole.
  • Be entrusted with specific delegated responsibilities from the ward manager, including protected time for deputy ward manager duties and supervision of a designated staff group.

To excel as Deputy Ward Manager, you'll need:

  • Registration as a First level Registered Nurse (RMN).
  • Essential clinical supervision experience; training in this area is desirable.
  • A commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD) and leadership enhancement.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Experience in Acute Mental Health.
  • A minimum of 3 years, or equivalent, post-registration experience.
  • Mentorship skills are desirable, though training could be provided.
