Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Psychologist for a full-time position (part-time considered). The role offers a competitive salary of up to £72,100 p/a.

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Clinical Psychologist to contribute to the ongoing development of our service, providing clinical expertise in collaboration with our multi-disciplinary team. As a key member, you will be responsible for delivering specialist clinical psychology input, including individual assessment, formulation, intervention, and consultation.

Key Accountabilities:
Clinical:
- Lead the provision and development of psychological input, ensuring evidence-based practice.
- Monitor, review, and update the service in consultation with the unit Consultant Psychiatrist.
- Provide specialist psychological assessment and formulation for new admissions.
- Manage an individual caseload, formulating, planning, and evaluating interventions.
- Contribute to the delivery of the psychological groups programme.
- Support the team's psychological formulation and therapeutic skills development.
- Participate in a program of continuing professional development.
Support:
- Provide support to other team members through consultancy, supervision, and training.
- Contribute to the training and supervision of Assistant Psychologists and other MDT members.
Administrative:
- Record client contacts and assessments according to relevant policies.
- Provide written reports on psychological assessments, formulation, and therapeutic progress.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Maintain eligibility for the register of Chartered Psychologists.
- Doctorate in Clinical/Counselling Psychology.
- HCPC registration as a Clinical Psychologist.
- Practical knowledge of using a full range of psychological theory models.
- Excellent skills in psychological assessment, formulation, intervention, and evaluation.
- Experience of specialist psychological assessment and treatment of patients.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to changing environments.
Desirable:
- Post-qualification experience in a relevant setting.
- Additional training in specific psychological models (e.g., EMDR, CAT, CFT, IPT, CBT).
- Experience of teaching, training, and/or supervision.
- Experience of facilitating groups (specifically CBTe/DBT).
