Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to work in Oxford on a full/part-time basis in an Older Person Rehab Service. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Occupational Therapy and be registered with the HCPC. This role will be 22.5 to 30 hours per week.
The pay rate for this locum Occupational Therapist job is £28 (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3 month contract.
Duties:
- Community based service visiting patients mainly older patients in their own home providing rehab to regain independence, prevent admission to hospital and facilitate discharge from hospital. - Provision of equipment to meet needs and using rehab assistants to support recovery and rehab. - Interdisciplinary working in team of OT's, physio's, rehab assistants, some nurses and some mental health support.
Requirements of the Occupational Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Occupational Therapies
- HCPC registered as an Occupational Therapist
- Must be a car driver
- 2 years post graduate experience
