Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for a pivotal role within a reputable healthcare facility in the East Midlands. This facility, currently undergoing significant transformation, seeks a dedicated individual to join their team.

As the successful candidate, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the current Acute ward, which comprises 9 bedrooms, while also spearheading the opening and management of a second acute ward, set to open in June 2024 following renovations. This expansion will double the total bed capacity to 18 across both wards.

The Acute ward caters to female patients presenting with a wide spectrum of mental health conditions, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, stress, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), schizophrenia, and personality disorders.

You will also be instrumental in the leadership and management of their female Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), collaborating closely with an established team to ensure the delivery of exemplary care.

In this role, you will provide clinical management and leadership to the ward team, serving as a visible role model and leader. Responsibilities include maintaining the highest standards of care, offering support and guidance to team members, and overseeing the ward environment and its resources.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent within Mental Health Nursing
  • NMC registration
  • Previous UK mental health nursing experience
