Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a dedicated Student Veterinary Nurse Apprentice for a full-time position (40 hours per week) with a starting salary of £23,920.00 per annum. About the Role:
This position is based within a growing small animal practice that boasts two state-of-the-art hospitals and several busy branch clinics. The practice is well-regarded for delivering an exceptional, comprehensive service 24/7.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients
- Assist with clinical procedures and surgeries
- Support veterinarians in the diagnosis and treatment of animals
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a veterinary practice
- Registration with the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons
- Enrolment in the second year of training as a Student Veterinary Nurse
- Completion of the first year of studies
- Confidence, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn and work hard in a busy environment
- Own car and a clean driving licence due to the potential need to work from different sites
