Sanctuary Criminal Justice is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber to fill a permanent full-time role within in West Kent and East Sussex. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of nursing and be registered with the NMC.
The salary for this permanent Non-Medical Prescriber role is £33,834 - £36,922 per annum.
Duties:
- Offer care for presenting clients.
- Initiate prescribing of and/or make amendments to prescriptions of opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and other related medications.
- Take a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic, acting as a point of contact for other workers and partner agencies around prescribing issues.
Requirements of the Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber:
- Degree or equivalent in nursing/NMP
- Current NMC registration (RGN/RMN)
- Significant experience as a Non-Medical Prescriber
- A nurse with extensive experience of caseload work with Drug and Alcohol misusers.
- Experience of working clients with physical health and mental health issues alongside their substance use.
