Sanctuary Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join a dynamic team within our Outpatients department. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional clinical care, adhering to hospital protocols and guidelines, and prioritising a patient-centered approach.

Our Outpatients department boasts 31 rooms covering a wide range of specialties, offering an engaging and diverse environment supported by a large team. Operating Monday - Saturday, the role demands strong organisational and communication skills to thrive in a bustling clinic setting.

Key responsibilities include conducting various procedures such as minor surgeries, patch tests, coil insertions, venepuncture, and ECGs. Collaborating closely with specialist nurses within the department, including those in Pre-Assessment and Continence Care, ensures comprehensive patient support across all stages of care.

About the Role:

  • Ensure the safety and maintenance of patient care areas
  • Accurately record patient data in IT systems
  • Oversee medication management
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to junior team members
  • Act as a leader in the absence of senior staff

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Registered Nurse qualification, preferably with Outpatient experience
  • Willingness to undergo ILS training
  • Proficiency in basic phlebotomy and ECG monitoring, or willingness to learn
  • Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to patient-centered care
  • Competency in MS Office Suite and web-based reporting systems
  • Ability to foster professionalism and teamwork
