Sanctuary Personnel, a leading recruitment company within the private and public sector has a locum role for a Band 6/7 Speech and Language Therapist to work part-time or full-time based in Morden.
The pay rate for this locum Speech and Language Therapist job is £26.00 - £32.00 per hour (Assignment rate) and is an initial 3-month contract.
Duties:
- To complete Speech and language dysphagia and communication assessments, complete Speech and language therapy treatment delivery, deliver some admin tasks and some educational training of school staff, contributing to EHCP reports, managing a therapy caseload, supporting other team members, writing reports, dysphagia/communication therapy programmes and attending relevant meetings, writing for annual reviews and liaising with educational staff, other professional and outside MDT professionals, Liaising and managing conversations with parents and writing clinical health care records/ care plans
Requirements of the Speech and Language Therapist:
- Degree or equivalent within Speech and Language Therapist
- HCPC registered as a Therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
- RIO trained
- Preferably a car driver
